violenza contro le donne è, purtroppo, un tema attuale nella nostra società, che viene affrontato e discusso moltissimo in programmi televisivi e sul web, sfociando anche in film, cortometraggi e canzoni, ma sono ancora troppi gli
abusi e i casi di

Tema in inglese sulla violenza contro le donne: la scaletta
Per evitare di fare confusione sul foglio e per organizzare al meglio il vostro lavoro, vi consigliamo di iniziare stilando una scaletta in modo che vi aiuti a mantenere il filo del discorso. La scaletta dovrà essere articolata così:
- Introduzione: in questa parte verrà introdotto l'argomento del quale dovrete parlare, le premesse da ampliare e analizzare nello svolgimento;
- Svolgimento: questa parte sarà il corpo centrale del tema che deve essere coerente in ogni sua parte perder condurrà alla conclusione. Se ne siete in possesso, qui potete anche aggiungere dati e informazioni specifici sul tema in questione;
- Conclusione: nella conclusione bisogna riassumere un'opinione coerente con quanto scritto fino a quel punto e qui potrete inserire delle opinioni personali.

More and more frequently, newspapers and TV deal with a really thorny topic: violence against women. Violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. It is a grave violation of human rights. The most disturbing fact is that most of this violence is intimate partner violence. Worldwide, a lot of women who have been in a relationship report that they have experienced some form of physical and/or sexual violence by their intimate partner in their lifetime.

Women experience violence in many ways, from physical sexual assault and from financial abuse to sexual harassment or trafficking.
We can recognize three categories of abuse: psychological abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse.
Psychological abuse is the type of abuse which may include constant verbal abuse, harassment, stalking, excessive possessiveness depriving her of physical and economic resources and destroying her personal property.
We always hear that words have a weight and that can often hurt more than actions: using them against a woman in bad fashion is a way to hurt her, to denigrate her value.
Physical abuse may begin with grabbing, pinching or shoving and often escalates into more serious and frequent attackes including kicking, punching, biting.
Any time a woman is forced to take part in unwanted sexual activity, it is considered sexual violence.
The negative impact of violence ranges from immediate to long-term multiple physical, sexual and mental consequences for women and girls, including death. It is also true that violence not only has negative consequences for women but also their families and the community.
It has been noticed that men are more likely to perpetrate violence if they have low education or a history of child maltreatment. At the same time, women are more likely to experience violence if they have low education, abuse during childhood or if they have mothers being abused by a partner.
There is a growing number of well-designed studies looking at the effectiveness of prevention and response programmes. But more resources are needed to strengthen the prevention.
Decades of mobilizing by civil society and women's movements have put ending gender-based violence high on national and international agendas.
Decreasing violence against women and girls requires a community-based, multi-pronged approach and sustained engagement with multiple stakeholders.
Not enough is done to prevent violence and when it does occur, it often goes unpunished.

Violence against women is a drama of not easy resolution. Yet, can we do something to combat violence against women? We should begin to understand that there are no differences between man and women, that we all have the same rights, the same dignity and the same possibilities. In addition, there are two important words: prevention, courage.
Prevention: when we see that with the boy known in whatever context something is starting not to turn in the right direction, we must immediately act. Point out that that phrase, that avance, that way of doing does not respect neither the person nor the woman we are is the first step to avoid bad consequences: we need to put staked whenever possible, because violence against woman is a phenomenon that starts small and daily, and must be stopped at this level.
